Two kinds, and the difference is who is accountable for what Mross produces. Choose the true one — it changes what the product will do, and it cannot be swapped later without moving a live matter across an accountability line.

Who is using Mross? A law firm. A licensed attorney supervises the work and signs and sends everything that leaves. Mross prepares, computes exposure, drafts filing-ready motions and tells the attorney when their theory is wrong — bluntly, because a licensed human is accountable for every output. Case managers can be added; only an attorney releases work. I am representing myself. You are the defendant and there is no lawyer on your case. You get the same Guidelines engine, the same Record, the same arithmetic — every number Mross computes is computed the same way. What does not change: Mross is not your lawyer and will not act as one. It will not tell you whether to take a plea, whether an enhancement applies to you, or what you should do. Those are legal judgements, and it refuses them to a firm too. Nothing it produces is signed, filed or served — you would be filing it yourself, as your own counsel.
